Netwichtig

netwichtig is the primary name under which a number of mostly communication-oriented services are provided, mainly under netwichtig.de. It was called linux-geeks.de some time before that.

The Name

The name is composed of the part 'net' for network and 'wichtig' meaning 'important' in german. In some german dialects 'net' means 'nicht' (as in 'not', 'non-', 'un-'), so it also means 'unimportant'. (I did not think I could find it less punny than I already did but explaining did wonders!)
